Through the first story mode string. Ready to roll whenever.

Yeah I figured that's what you were doing. You should at least get through "Party Time" since that gives you a nicer apartment.Through the first story mode string. Ready to roll whenever.

I like that the gangs are a bit more difficult in this game then the previous. They try to get out of the way, take cover, etc. and it takes more to kill them unless you get head shots.
They are also ultra aggressive. At just 2 stars they are coming out of the woodwork and can overwhelm you pretty quick if you aren't paying attention.
Time to start considering names for the next thread. Hrmm...
I got my Funtime Pack! just fine. The code was on my GameStop Receipt. That's exactly the mission I made it through. Working on getting quick cash and buying stores to get cash flow going. Anything cool I should be saving up for?
Also, did you ever get your Professor Genki stuff? Hearing THQ/Volition botched the launch on that and no one got their code for their stuff.
Return To Steelport mission is kind of a pain in the ***. A lot of checkpoints and some brutes with miniguns added into protecting homies who stand out in the open and get shot A LOT. I'm not even sure how I got through.
I just do S.E.R.C over and over since its like 2-3 minutes to go through and can get a couple thousand.Only have an hour or so tonight, so I'll probably spend it grinding Insurance Fraud so I can buy more stores and maximize income. Stupid bar trivia.
Anything else good for making fast money?

Trojan Whores mission gets you Gunship in garage. /flex
I'll stick with Insurance Fraud then. Just like last time, ignore the hot spots and go to a highway. Done in like 2 minutes. I think the second one in the middle island is worth $5K.
I did take a plane up but didn't go through the power pillars apparently. Your message said towers, so I went between towers! I'll prolly give it another go though, since it seems like fairly easy cash.To hell with that. Go to the airport, head to the north/south runway, grab the cropduster right next to where the runways cross, take off heading north, and fly through the 3 sets of power pillars. $5K a pass. And you can loop around and get 'em going the other way too.
Made $500K+ in an hour.![]()

I've hit a point in the game where there is no real story related missions and its kind of annoying. Every mission I take ends up just being another activity.
I have retrieved every sex toy doll (20). Needed the heli to complete some of them. Just need to finish money pallets and whatever other collectibles there are.
ETA: Also, I was screwing around outside Zimos crib killing police so I could garage a SWAT vehicle. Well I got the SNG Bulldog with gun turret the first time, but SWAT never showed up (just heli, cars, and Bulldog). So I did it again, this time SWAT did show up, but so did an effin tank that wasted me before I could even get into the SWAT vehicle. Good times tho!
Seems nearly impossible to get into tank in single player since there is so many other things shooting at you. But maybe.
My only wish is that you could use the Octo-gun to mind control brutes. That would be fantastic!
Shark-o-matic is pretty funny. You shoot fish at the enemy and then a shark comes up out of the ground and eats them.
Stillwater was better from a "secret" places to visit perspective.Well, there goes another 160 MS Points. I have to have that.
Is it just me, or was SR2 more fun to explore? Stilwater had the shopping mall, college campus, museums, cave system, canals under the city, etc. Steelport really just has streets and a couple buildings. Where's the neat stuff to go check out?
