Hopefully that's a sign that we've moved past our first-half woes. Make it a sweep tomorrow and I'll feel a lot more confident!

13-13 on the PK! Now that's more like it! HUGE series next weekend vs Western.

I'm watching my Capitals tonight play in San Jose. Lo and behold! I get to watch Dan Boyle and Tommy Wingels. Pretty sweet!

But that HUGE series next weekend vs. Western comes after a pretty big road series against LSSU...

9 of our final 12 at home following next weekend's roadie to the SOO.

As an aside, that DICK dude, is everything that's wrong with blue hair Miami alumni/fans who would rather have you sit down than, dare I say it, "stand and cheer." He's also a shining beacon of everything that's wrong about MHT these days.

I spent an evening with John Walton and Caps beat writer Mike Vogel when they were in Denver right before the holidays. John is on Cloud One with the Caps radio gig.

Nice job in East Lansing. Big weekend coming up with Lake.

Didn't see it mentioned that Miami got a commit from Louie Belpedio (Culver, d man) for, gulp, 2015. Belpedio is a '96, which, of course, means he was born a year *after* '95 graduated.

I listened to John while watching the Blue Jackets/Caps game on Fox Ohio. He's as good as ever and it brought back some Oxford and Miami memories. He earned his way into that gig, that's for sure.

Yes, I saw that too. Another very solid pickup from what I understand.

Redeagle, I'm still not a man yet though. At least how Mike Gundy would describe it!

What's the DICK dude?

What's the DICK dude?

One of those rare and elusive Miami basketball fans. Kind of like a Mew.

Great to see Cody Murphy back in the lineup, and oh, whooop whooop!

I may or may not have waited in line for one of those when I was kid. Good times.

Cameron Schilling gets CCHA Defenseman of the week and Knapp earns CCHA Goaltender of the week.

Looks like we are back to having 1a and 1b in net, with the rotation out the window - no complaints here.
