Agree to disagree. I thought the BC crowd was in the hundreds at best. Could have been the size of the venue that made it seem much less.

Thanks man. Yeah we beat UNH at UNH pretty much for our first tourney win ever 5 years or so ago with a less talented team than we have now. Hopefully we can go do it again.

Looking forward to another fun matchup. I made the drive to and from Oxford in October and that was easily the most fun I've had on a hockey roady, and I've made plenty.

Should be an great matchup. The teams are very familiar with each other and it will be interesting to see how it compares to that series in Oxford!

Not looking ahead at all here but I stumbled upon this

"no complaints whatsoever about the selection... we get to stay close to home, have the worst of the 1 seeds and i like the matchup w notre dame having to travel, and i expect them to not be ready for how good this merrimack team really is."

I hope everyone keeps thinking like that :)

At least Miami avoids that dreaded matchup with BC in the regional. UNH is beatable but MC is a very good team.

hey guys, I just wanted to wish your team the best of luck in the upcoming tournament. Since BU has forgotten how to play hockey these last 2 yrs, I've adopted Miami as my team for the tourney. You guys have a good draw and I hope you can redeem yourselves and erase the disappointment of the last few years. GL!

That's alright. I don't think people know how good this Miami team is. Might be the best of the bunch we've had.

It's the time of year when I no longer can root for the Lakers so I hop on the Redhawks bandwagon...is there a spot still available?? lol I'm really pulling for you guys this year, I've always enjoyed watching Camper, Miele, and Smith and I hope they can finally get a ring!!

wait - there were fans for teams other than rit at the frozen four? jk. bc seemed to be the poorest represented in numbers of the four teams last year, but they had the longest trip. rarely heard them from the other end of the rink, though the stadium is also at fault there.

you can count me in for that bandwagon. have to root for air force some too though, help represent aha. will there be any miami fans going to manchester? my boys got knocked out but i am considering going to a regional and yours is the closest to me.

That's alright. I don't think people outside of Hockey East know how good this Merrimack team is. It IS the best we've ever had (okay, I'll beat you to the punch, "is that really saying much?"). Seems that a number of Miami posters think all you have to do is beat New Hampshire and you are automatically in the FF. I hope they keep thinking that;)

I hope Merrimack doesn't forget they need to beat ND for a shot at UNH/Miami. Anything can happen in the tournament son.

If Notre Dame beats you, then we'll definitely be thinking about that.
