Apparently he's only expecting to be out a couple weeks. Wow. We'll see how it goes, but that seems awfully quick when he may not really be needed until the Notre Dame series.

Sounds like that's what he is hoping for... I have a feeling the docs/coaches may have a different opinion. Regardless, Will Weber is a beast.

To be honest with the depth on defense I don't think need is the right word. He definantly makes the defense better, but they have a lot of talent back there.

I think a couple weeks is a stretch. Nothing has been set in stone though, but I would think christmas is more realistic. No real need to rush him back in the first half of the season. With the extent of the injuries he sustained a couple of weeks would be remarkable. With that said if anyone could do it he could.

In fact, Will Weber is such a beast that he once took down a wild bear with his bare hands while showshoeing in the Canadian Rockies during a blizzard.

classic, I think you can take any chuck norris joke and insert will weber lol....I do know that he has now become the choice of halloween look alike around oxford, especially amongst the hockey players lol.

When I heard that Chuck Norris had slammed that revolving door, I just just shrugged and said "Whatev...Will Weber did that with his mind....while asleep...in another state."

At least that's what I heard.

Remember that time camper had ONLY 19 points through six games (and one period). What a slacker. You'd figure he'd try to set an example with his captaincy. ;)

Random side note but 3 or 4 players wearing neck guards tonight, can't say I blame them.

Don't blame them either. Its more of a reasurance thing, honestly a neck guard wouldn't of made a difference for Will and in general a neck guard would lose a battle with a skate blade. But I agree I probably would of put one on just to help mentally. In fact after I saw a guy get his tendon slashed across his wrist in juniors I starter wearing wrist guards...

Side not, I have a pretty big concern with this team right now....I know its hard to find one but 7 games in and the sign of them consistantly getting outplayed in the third period is puzzling. Now this has mostly happened when they have big leads and they let their foot off the gas but I would like to see the foot stay on the gas because it will need to be once you get into the meat of this schedule. Just an observation, don't like lossing third periods.
