The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
D2D, for this thread to have any credibility with real hockey people, please REMOVE the terms Flying-V and knucklepuck! LOL
Although highly entertaining, the Mighty Ducks movies were simply a mockery of the real game by the movie industry.

Nothing wrong with a little levity, DS, especially in the off-season! And 'Flying-V' and 'knucklepuck' are probably more "hockey specific" than some of the others on the list.
But here's the plan. For any of the terms listed, including either of these two, how about if two or more "real hockey people" on the Forum give it their thumbs down, it will be REMOVED.

Sounds like we will be getting some new terms soon (NZIPPR?): http://www.startribune.com/sports/259476141.html. I have not yet looked for the Globe and Mail article he cites. If anyone has a link, could you please post it? Thanks!
