Well, considering that the athletes playing in the games are, you know, undergrads, it's absurd to overlook that aspect.

In what? Don't say undergraduate because the big ten doesn't give a **** about UG. They care about research.
ahhh, but if quinny leaves the ecac, what does the ecac do?
Atlantic hockey is looking like a wounded wildebeast with a flock of vultures eyeing the spoils.
I don't think you know how the big ten works. Academics is the driver, not sports. And specifically graduate research.
You should google the CIC and read about its role in academics and athletics. It's why Chicago is still a member of the Big Ten.

From the moment they joined HE, it felt like trying to force a square peg into a round hole. I think ND will be better off in the Big Ten and I don't think HE is going to miss them much.
Lol.
HE exes are acting jilted.
Hardly. They didn't belong in Hockey East in the first place and I'm generally happy they're leaving (Lowell's 7-1-2 record against them being the only positive about their membership IMO).
Just the tone of the posts...
So the article says 17-18 as the season they join. Do they play HE again in 16-17?
It's really funny that you're trying to tell a fan of an Ivy League team this.
OK, well they rank ahead of five B1G schools in law, three in business, and seven in medicine. So once again, your argument is incorrect. Before you bring up the AAU, which I know is your next step, let me know how Nebraska is faring in that group.
UC is not a member of the Big Ten, just the CIC.
rit.
IThey have facilities that I believe would be comparable to most of the ECAC.
WinnerI would think so. Annullments in the Catholic Church take rime.
