Football plays 5 games against ACC teams, and can play in their lower level bowl games. They greatly prefer the ACC (basketball).

Never understood them joining HE in the first place, always made more sense for them to be in a mid-west/west conference. But I will miss the easy wins UML has had against them ever since they joined.
The Q makes sense as a replacement but who knows, maybe HE stays at 11 for awhile. Wonder if they'd ever look at a team like Robert Morris from Atlantic Hockey at all?

You're aware UConn is ranked ahead of IU, MSU, RU, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue, and is tied with UMD according to US News, right?

Atlantic Hockey is looking like a wounded wildebeast with a flock of vultures eyeing the spoils.
Well, considering that the athletes playing in the games are, you know, undergrads, it's absurd to overlook that aspect.

So, we learn that it's not wise to add a team that is a 3 hour flight from the remaining teams in your conference.

I wonder if the next step for Traviolia is to begin talks on adding an 8th team for the sake of scheduling symmetry. Right now its 15/20 (NC/Conf.) games so the NCs would obviously be reduced with 7 or 8 teams. The old WCHA with 12 teams had about 8 NCs/28 conf. games per season.
