My understanding is it has been passed along, more than once. There is a unique situation in that the rink staff do not work for the AD. Kreitzberg Arena, and it's staff, do not fall under athletics. The facility is supervised by, and reports to, Facilities Operations.
I know Hockenbury (little unclear why you'd be so disrespectful to a guy who, by all accounts, is a stand up guy who is a great AD) doesn't like bad language on music played at sporting events. I was at a lacrosse game last spring and saw him get quite upset about some of the language on the pregame playlist.
On this particular issue, perhaps it's a blessing that the PA is so garbled.
