Hey I have no idea why I rate delivery before Norwich Alumni. The only thing I am a member of Norwich wise is the Blue Line Club. But you got to admit it is a cool article with a lot of pics of Kyle Thomas. I know Prez doesn't like me talking about non-hockey stuff but I thought the article of the Norwich Cadets training in Macadonia with Serb, Turkish, and Macadonia Cadets was interesting too.

A reliable source tells me the Cadets have added a goaltender ... Parker Carroll ... 6-1 172 lb ... from West Chester, Pa. ... played most recently at Wilkes-Barre Scranton of the Atlantic junior Hockey League. He is expected to be available starting with the tournament this weekend.

Parker Carroll stats with the AJHL. Just curious if Norwich is bringing in another forward or defensemen since there roster is on the small side?

That is probably the worst first period that I've seen out of an NU team in a long,long time. How much of that was NU and how much was M'ville is hard to say. I can't remember being down 3-0 after 1 at home in the Kreitzberg era

I guess no one can figure why Norwich started so slow in the first period, but I still couldn't believe how Manhattanvile controlled play. Scoring two goals on the first two shots of the game. Norwich played an outstanding second period but by that time it was too late playing a team that played there A+ game from start to finish and didn't give Norwich many grade A scoring chances. The Manhattanville goalie and defense were outstanding. Taking a look at the Norwich stats the debth of scoring we saw last year simply isn't there this year. The top two scorers from last year only have a combined 11 points to date. On a positive note the new goaltender Parker Carroll played the entire third period and was outstanding. His junior stats didn't stand out but he made a number of good saves late in the game and seems to take up a lot space in front of the net. Plattsburgh next?

I thought he looked a little awkward, but that may be just the difference in size as compared to Dubois.

Charlie, Derek - did one of the freshman goalies leave or do we have an extra backup now?

Parker had two saves on three shots for the entire third period....???????????
