Norwich 2017-18 Season Thread: Defending the Crown

A dollar and a dream. But something that needs to be done to see the continued success of the team(s). I Just find it embarrassing that you have to dress your team in two locker rooms and stand at the entrance to both room to talk to your teams. But it is what it is....see everyone Saturday (for a little bit at least).

I will send out some information about grub spots ect later in the week. Get there early and hit up some wineries. It will help keep you warm.

Looking forward to my first trip into The Cooler ... am I crazy?

Very encouraged by the weekend ... 2 BIG wins over 2 tough league foes ... now out on the road. There are going to be ups and downs with this young crew but you have to feel good overall

What say You?

The one disappointment of the weekend ... attendance. Good student crowd helped Friday but where were you season ticket holders? A TON of sold but unused seats.

Next year you come down to Johnson & Wales. Lets just say the press box is - different.

You and Derek should let JWU know what you need now to make sure they have it when you get there.

I noticed that against Salve Regina too. It looked packed except for the section at center ice right behind the bench...

NU women knock off 4 time defending champ Platty tonight!

Re: Norwich 2017-18 Season Thread: Defending the Crown

Give me a hell yeah!

Norwich definitely deserved the win...outplayed Plattsburgh most the game....Congrats to the girls......only negative....as far as the NU coach is concerned...his players NEVER commit a penalty...he even whined about the obvious ones !

Can we watch video of tonight's game at Skidmore with their live streaming?

I was wandering if any one has any intel on the goalies this year. Will the coach rotate them, is that part of the plan? The team looks really good once they get warmed up, hopefully it doesn't take 30 minutes to get the turbo boost going every game. Sounds like the prime link is at Middlebury this year. Should be some good hockey coming. Nice to see you all posting in here. Just wanted to wish Puck voice , a great year of good health. We love listening to him at our house. We are like the Waltons, huddled around listening , mostly for away games, hanging on his every word with every move the players make. Thanks Puck Voice, You Rock.

Seems too quiet on this thread after an interesting weekend of hockey, especially the OT at Hobart where the stats show Hobart with one shot on goal and Norwich with zero. I hope we are not going to skate into the sunset like our state rivals, the Muddleberry Panthers. Maybe somebody can come up with something about this weekend. I see we didn't even rate a pick on Tim Costello's column.

I’ll start posting more once some irritates me 😂

Tough game to lose after controlling it 90% of the time and out shooting NEC almost 2 to 1. But it's the score that counts in a game of seconds and inches. The new men appear to be doing very well, considering they must get used to the "Norwich Way". Looking forward to tomorrow's game and more posters on this thread.
