My BELOW ratings has the Wildcats as the fourth-best team in the league right now.

Here is a, maybe silly, question. Has it ever happened where a team had a start like NMU... then won out? Additionally, right now NMU is looking **** hot. Is it possible any coaches in the poll would cast a vote for a team with a losing record? This is projecting a hell of a lot here, but lets say they indeed do sweep Minnesota State Mankato next weekend (not saying shutouts... but that would be awesome). If they were to do that... they would still have a losing record. However, how could you not cast them in your top 25 at that point?

lots of great fans that have been with the team through the toughest times. Great that they were there to see records set, tied and battles for, Cats fans, you're the best! The town gave up on them (really 1775 attendance in Kraft Hockeyville USA to see the hottest team in the country and goalie setting a WCHA all time record Friday and tying a very long standing NCAA record Saturday.). The fans gave up on them and threw them and the coach under the bus. But one group never gave up when things were at their worst. Players & staff. And when I say "the fans," I do realize that there is a core group that has stuck with them through it all. A tap of the stick to you folks.
With the exception of the Anchorage series as I was out of town, I've stuck out every single home game this year and a couple of road games. Definitely a tough first half to sit through. I think the fans that did show up last week were well aware of what was going on with Tolvanen. As I said in an earlier post, I felt excitement in the building for the first time in a while. If casual fans in Marquette missed it than its their loss. They're missing out on what's a fun team to watch right now going on a win streak with a goalie breaking records. The fans who have been there all season got to see it though and that's all that matters to me.The town gave up on them (really 1775 attendance in Kraft Hockeyville USA to see the hottest team in the country and goalie setting a WCHA all time record Friday and tying a very long standing NCAA record Saturday.). gotta give Walt credit, he tells it just like he sees it and it's refreshing after listening to the less than forthright coaches from the east, such as donato. Good for him for calling out the b1g.
