what an fantastically bizarre season,Im still shaking my head with a smile on my face.Very thankful for the post-Beanpot run.And proud to be a Husky fan,thick and thin,winning and losing and have bright hope for the future.

Hey, it was a great 2nd half and we won HE. Good things to come, we were out classed today and just got off the game plan by a bigger, quicker and more talented team with a fairly unlucky draw. ND Fighting Hawks are the favorite to win it all. They hung in this game but let in a couple of bad goals and had that deflection. We would have really needed have had Ruck stand on his head to win this thing, especially after we were down 2 or 3. Great season by NU standards and hopefully the start of an annual trek to the NCAA's ! Chat with you all in October. Have a great off season and be safe!

No, Bertagna shows his astute hockey sense. Laughing at him. Most lowell fans hate him. NU had good season after thanksgiving and ran into a mack truck today unfortunately.lol?.. hindsight's 20/20 ain't it chief..

better team on every front. Will make the FF (my opinion) & from there.. well, what can i say.. familiar territory for them.
Hope the NC can still come back to HE though.

UND fans had a lot of respect for NU going in, and that hasn't changed. We know how playoff games can go south, believe me. Some NU fans visited the Sioux website this week, which was nice. I hope we meet up again in the next couple of years. No reason why that won't happen.

At 5-1 in 3rd, NU nearly cut it to 5-3. That's the kind of fight you wanna see. Not a great day for ruck. Prior to 3rd, UND skated circles around NU for long stretches. Looked like a constant PP.

Nothing but praise for North Dakota. That's the best team I've seen us play against during my time here, including a Gaudreau-led BC squad that put up 9 goals at Matthews against a lesser version of the Huskies. The CBS line could be three Gaudreaus playing together honestly. I thought their highlight reel goals were just that, highlights, but there's a significant and scary chance of it happening every time they rush down the ice.
Not the ending we wanted, but I'm glad this team made the show. Losing last weekend and finishing on the outside looking in would have been an injustice to the team that has been playing since January.

ran over by the best team in the country IMO. Great season regardless and a nice banner to hang in Matthews in October. It was fun watching and following the Huskies

Tough loss for northeastern. Tough to draw a really good North Dakota team. What a great year they had to get to the NCAA's after the start they had. Back when Quinnipiac tied northeastern I was like this was a terrible tie but that tie ended up looking good in the long run. Looks like the future is bright on Huntington Avenue.

As stated earlier-- they had a shot against any team in the nation-- except NoDak. They are a bigger, faster, more skilled version of NU. Ruck and face-offs are weaknesses and it got exposed. Ruck will be better-- as he hit a wall. Seeing Szmatula on the face-off circle would have been welcomed. Props to Cockerill playing with a broken finger(s). I think he is their best skating D-man.
