Congrats to Northeastern and their fans. Clearly, your team showed up to play last night and mine didn't. Same with the fan base. I'll be back at the Garden tonight with some red and black on and for a couple of hours "Yo soy Huskie".

As for BC, losers of 3 of their last 5, there's nothing but low expectations heading into the regionals.

Congrats to UML too. Who knows, if they hadn't scored they'd probably 'still' be playing.

The announcers mentioned late that those were retro jerseys. I really liked them. Was that a calculated move? Like, were those jerseys the Huskies wore maybe the last time NU won Hockey East or something? Cuz that would be such an awesome move. I hope you're wearing them tonight!!!

C'mon Scarlet - you are an expert in these things....I figured you would know as well as anybody that those are their old units from the Rossi/Buda/Racine days.;)

Congrats on an incredible turnaround Husky fans. I hope you bring it home tonight, definitely earned and deserved.

Yes.... Good job you guys. Don't have it in front of me but didn't NU beat Maine in the HE finals way back in the late 80's wearing those jerseys ?

If happiness were people I would be China this am. Pretty tired! I know we have not won anything yet, but this team deserves an NCAA bid. For me, seasons are gauged by simply two things, Wins v. BC and BU. So, in that very moment when the Huskies finally beat BC in a "big" game outside of the Beanpot, something I can't really remember them doing very often, during the past 3 decades, it was just awesome! I will be ring side tonight watching this "Miracle" in a now somewhat tattered and a size or so, too small Isbister jersey. GO HUSKIES!

I already told you in the other thread...they're the jerseys from the 80s. :) (and I said I wish BU would go back to those - with the terrier on the front)

They are throwbacks, but I don't know what the deal is with them. We hadn't worn them once since March 2014, to the best of my memory. We didn't touch them in 2014-15, didn't touch them all fall. Then we decided to wear them one game after the Beanpot and have proceeded to wear them for every single road game since. Not sure if it's superstition or what but I'm not complaining. At this point I see no reason why we wouldn't wear them tonight (and the rest of the year if there is one, because I assume we're the road team in every potential NCAA tourney game.)

Dear Pink Hat, they;ve been wearing these alt road jerseys for the entire streak. Way to follow the team, BRO!

If you idiots only knew. It's cool. Celebrating with a few of the NU players was cool. So was being on their bus. Remember-- I gave you that Stevens would play.
