2016 6 seed Northeastern Huskies highest seed to ever win a Hockey East tournament.

A 5 seed has never won.

Three 4 seeds have won: 1996 Providence Friars, 2000 Maine Black Bears, 2008 Boston College Eagles

Eh, I usually go by the number. Highest number seed.

Usually consider the #1, the lowest seed in the tournament.

It's sort of semantics though, you get the point

Student bus going down to Ohio-- quite a deal. Bus ride + hotel + tshirt= $100. Talked to NU-- there may be an alumni bus going down as well. Call 617-373-2558 to make this happen.

Congrats on the win guys. Thought you were toast as of new years, gives hope that a ****ty season can in fact turn around. Good luck in the tourney.
