Anyone else still riding the high from the game? Can't stop thinking about it. Monday is going to be crazy. NU sold 200 more tickets for Monday within 40 minutes yesterday at the basketball game. Students are asking me for ways to get tickets, kids who haven't gone all year. Turnout on Monday will be through the roof. We had 3.5 sections tuesday. We'll far exceed that Monday.

Also, hopefully we can play another disciplined affair & just compete.. let the chips fall where they may.

I would just like to point out that it's really great how even though Northeastern is usually not top dog and we're usually the underdog and historically at least we frequently do poorly, we still have the BEST student section. At so many other school's that are used to doing well, as soon as the team stops winning, the fans stop showing up. I just think it's awesome that with Northeastern, we ****ing PACK the Dog House either way. I just really like that we're not a bunch of fair weather fans and front runners.

Also, I'm ridiculously pumped for Monday. I'm TERRIFIED, though, BU is not going to be an easy team to beat. I've been to my fair share of games at Agganis this season, and they've put together an intimidating team. It's not going be easy to beat the Boston University Eichels, that's for sure.

I think the Garden its gonna be rocking,the DogHouse is deafening as it is,plus almost everyone will be rooting for NU,gotta love the underdog,but you know,NU really has the ability to beat BU,its gonna be an amazing high to see NU take it back to Huntington #StacysMom

One underrated reason for the turn-around has been Mike McMurtry putting up top 6 numbers. He is currently on a 5 game point streak and has 13 points (3-10-13) and is +2 in the last 15 games and the team is 10-3-2. In the first 11 games when the team was 1-9-1 he had 3 points (0-3-3) and was -7. That Roy/Hedges/McMurtry line seems to have a lot of chemistry and it's nice be able to put 15 and 19 on separate lines and lengthen out the line-up.

Agree. McMurtry is playing a solid 200 foot game. He gets into the dirty areas and has really picked up his game this year. It is still remarkable to think that this team beat Minnesota, Yale, BC, and Vermont after going winless for the first nine games of the year. I don't think anyone on that team cares who scores, as long as they keep winning. If Darou scores the GWG in OT against BU, he will live forever in NU sports trivia history along with Wayne Turner.

Our opponent Monday has won their last 5 gms too.. is a well coached group. Was a matter of time before Quinn had them where he has them.

Anyway, meanwhile.. all the best vs the Minutemen tonight, Huskies. Play disciplined. Worry about Monday.. Monday (okay maybe Sunday). Play your game. Its got you off on a nice run now.. stick to it. Go NU :)
