Northeastern Huskies 2013-14 Season Thread II: In Witt we Trust

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2013-14 Season Thread II: In Witt we Trust

That should be a goal. Went of the UNH defender. Should be a tie game.

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2013-14 Season Thread II: In Witt we Trust

Hockey East is a joke. You wonder why kids choose major junior? At least it's not a Mickey Mouse organization.

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2013-14 Season Thread II: In Witt we Trust

I never thought I'd say this but, now that jack Parker is no longer a coach, maybe Umile is the new pet of Hockey East referees.

I don't know what the officials were looking at for the disallowed goal, but this game was a screw job, no matter what Huskies01 says.

Holy ****, that overturned goal is the new poster child for a makeup call. That looked like a clean goal to me.

The same officials you said were a good pair prior to the game?

Umile would be 2nd in line to the guy who coaches up at the Heights anyway.

And NU did not get "screwed" out of the game if they do end up losing. Still would have needed one more goal to win tonight, (after UNH had a goal overturned). What makes you think we would have gotten that goal? UNH seemed to be able to answer every time we got tied tonight.

Even the WBIN announcers said it was a goal. Ap-parently in UNH the referees cannot see the same angles that the WBIN feed uses. It wasn't Bennedetto's fault, it was the UNH replay angles.

I can't stand you.

You would make a great politician in Washington. You seem to have an answer against anyone's Point of view. Now you can gloat all you want. I guess you are always right. :p

If you seriously think that's how it works you're pretty stupid, sorry.

You and I are noit the only one's. He's laughing now, but we all know he's not liked by too many people on the boards, but I guess he thrives off of that. Let him live his life as he wants. I just wonder how many .... never mind. :D

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2013-14 Season Thread II: In Witt we Trust

I thought overall they played pretty well tonight, I hate to say this but Clay Witt was not his best tonight. Team scored 4 goals that should be enough to win. Now goal #5 on that 2-1 how muchg further was Gunn going to go? He let them walk right in.

Pimm is all they lose, they have a good team coming back. Bets part about post season. No more Huskies01. Man you suck

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2013-14 Season Thread II: In Witt we Trust

Fell to #17 in PWR. Not sure how VT stayed at 12, I heard all along they lose and they are out. Maybe just hasn't updated yet. I would say 95% they are out.

why would i gloat? I am not happy about losing. I would have loved to go to the Garden this weekend.

I just do not believe in complaining about no goals. It sucks, but its part of the game. And again, it only makes a TIE game. Not a GWG.

You want reasons they lost tonight? How about we start with special teams? Zero PP goals for NU in this series. To much talent up front for that to happen. And tonight they had zero answer for UNH's #1 line. All the stoppage plays allowed Umile to get them out there more and more, and they ended up owning us.

As much as NU showed some great fight tonight, so did UNH. They answered every time we did. Gotta give credit to them too.

NU was a team this year that carried by outstanding goaltending and they ended up winning quite a few more games then anybody thought. That's about it.

Can you block people? I would assume just not read his stuff. Anyway, if somehow CC beats North Dakota and wins that series tonight that would knock ND out.

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2013-14 Season Thread II: In Witt we Trust

NU now #16 in PWR. They need help, like UNH losing first game next week and ND or Lowell winning HE. Its a long shot, but they are slightly still alive. They need a lot to go there way, A LOT!

A tied game with half a period remaining and all the momentum...right, no reason to be sour about that screw job.
