Northeastern 2025-26: After Hours at the Old Barn

This team will be remembered for it inconsistency. You never know what to expect. We swept BC, and have wins against bu, PC, Denver and UMass. OTOH, We were swept by last place UVM and an outplayed by a mediocre Merrimack squad. We get UNH on Thursday at BC’s rink - almost a “home” game. A couple of positive notes: We accomplished the win tonight with effectively 4 Dmen, as I didn’t see much of Jones and none of Lund. Also It was encouraging to have all four goals scored by freshmen.

That "mediocre" Merrimack team finished exactly 1 point behind you in the standings and beat you twice. They also beat BC, PC and a highly ranked QU team. So maybe they're not really that mediocre after all (or maybe both teams are!)

Both teams share the adjective “mediocre”. Add “unpredictable”. Either team could get hot and make it to the semis.
