Northeast Regional - March 25-26: Minnesota, UMass-Lowell, Cornell and Notre Dame

Re: Northeast Regional - March 25-26: Minnesota, UMass-Lowell, Cornell and Notre Dame

I will be AMAZED if ND beats Minny. If the Minnesota team I saw at Conte in November shows up, they will skate circles around ND's D.

Minnesota didn't look very good against Northeastern the previous night. It was one of the more poorly-played games (by both teams) I've seen in a while, and the Gophers blew that game badly.

Thanks. It says I am tolerant :D

As I type this BU is up 3-1

That was funny, knowing how much you love those holiday tournaments.

That's ok, BU takes out the Sioux Hawks and hopefully Providence can tie up Harvard and pull that one out.

Nope. Instead they blow up a section of glass and kill the momentum

Figure Minnesota got the 1 seed because otherwise they'd be playing the game at 11 AM, and the committee thought that a bit much

Minnesota usually plays the late game, usually translating into the night or 7pm game. Its the called the Minnesota rule.

Ed McMahon, famous "host" of the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, was from Lowell. :)

Jack Kerouac who wrote "On The Road" is from Lowell and some of the earliest textile mills in America were located in Lowell.

traffic jam getting out of lowell this morning? lot of empty seats.

didn't catch any providence games, but what was the bet between whether umlol would bring more vs pc bringing more?

Re: Northeast Regional - March 25-26: Minnesota, UMass-Lowell, Cornell and Notre Dame

Cornell had a goal waived off early. UML leading 1-0 after one.

High quality stream on espn3!

There's a good crowd here mook. Manchester should be banned from hosting for scheduling a gazillion different things the same weekend. And lohin deserved the only penalty on that last sequence. He grabbed the guy and threw himself to the ice.

That call on McCarron was ticky-tacky but Cornell has been victimized by much worse officiating this year.

Nope, great Lowell crowd here now. Parking was an issue for many who didn't heed the early arrival warnings as Manchester stupidly has a half marathon this morning and tomorrow, a st. Patrick's day parade a week late. **** poor planning on the city's part.

Re: Northeast Regional - March 25-26: Minnesota, UMass-Lowell, Cornell and Notre Dame

That'll probably do it. Too much icky play this game.

Edit: Scratch that, it seems as if the Lowell bench forgot they were shorthanded.
