Correct, last game was 2-2... against Carr in net.

Not defending what he said. I think Gaudreau should and will win the Hobey. The reaction from you clowns is fairly ridiculous though. The guy is entitled to an opinion, and questioning his qualifications (see above) is comical considering your own.

NOT questioning his knowledge after years of totally erroneous comments is ignorant, regardless of what he's done in the past. He obviously doesn't do his homework has issues admitting when he is wrong, which is often.

This is a tough matchup for BC. The defense can't turn the puck over or force bad passes like they did against Notre Dame. If they do, it could be a long night.

Not sure what is funnier. Your apparent assumption that he didn't know what Gaudreau has done this season, or your seeming consistent assertion that you know as much about the game as he does.

starman certainly has the right to an opinion and people have the right to react to it. he flat out said dowd would be his choice...said it on the selection show. opinion or not it was a dumb comment and still is.

The problem with Starman is that he was trying to sound bold and knowledgeable by not going for the easy answer of Gaudreau in favor of a dark horse in Dowd. The problem with that answer is that there is no dark horse, or any other horse, than Gaudreau. Instead of trying to impress people he should have given the answer that 90% of college hockey fans already knew. It was a dumb move by a knowledgeable guy,

It's the "Dr Z Super Bowl Picks" theory: you cannot go wrong by picking a longshot/dark horse.

You pick wrong, you can point to any number of things to support your choice, even down to "I took a chance and lost."
You pick right...you look like a genius.
