North Star College Cup - MN, UMD, MSU, SCSU

I need to make sure one of my projects does not end up with another Friday afternoon meeting on my schedule (they have had a bad habit of doing that). Although the project site is in St. Paul and much closer to the X than my home or office, I've still got to get home to pick up my son before the game - at least I don't need to dress in so many layers this week.

I'm debating whether or not I'll go to the Blue Line Club luncheon, which is Friday, starting at 11:30am. While I like the idea of it being close to the X, at Mancini's, I would have to leave my house at around 10:30am, which would make for a very long day...then there's the question of what you do for a few hours in between the luncheon and the first game. But the agenda sounds like fun:

"Dave Christian and Mike Ramsey join us at Mancini's to talk Olympic history! You'll hear some history about Bill Christian and the 1960 Olympic Hockey team, some Gopher history, and they'll probably want to talk about the 1980 Miracle on Ice too. The Wild's Roger Godin will tie all this together in the Curator's Corner."

Decisions, decisions ... :)

I know I'm going to the luncheon... then hitting the bars by the X to hang out for the next couple hours :D

Geeze, its nice to finally get some real life opposing fans. Our recent series threads have either just been 100% Gopher fans or have felt like church mixers.

Come on, cheer up FTLT...I'm sure JBSU will get a win eventually. It just won't be this weekend. Maybe JBSU fans will throw trash on the XCEL's rink too. Because nothing sticks it to the refs like making your rink crew's lives harder!
