I heard a rumor that all the Sioux logos would need to be removed. It probably all depends on the agreement, but that would be a shame. It's a beautiful facility, dammit.

you know, UND could just build it's own rink, many other schools have managed to have a team without an Uncle Ralphie to build them a free rink. And then they could name it after someone who wasn't a racist.

I don't believe they will be removed, but they cannot be replaced once worn? Not sure if that applies to every instance or not...

I believe they all have to be removed with exception of the one on the marble flooring, Historical photo's of players. The Etchings in glass and whatnot can stay until they are worn and have to be replaced. The logos that are on the seats I believe have to
go Immediately.

Hearing a new moniker (whatever it is) will involve an adjustment period.

You're probably thinking of the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (or "Soo" Greyhounds) of the OHL.

"Looks to the future" huh? Then how about the "Pipeliners?" (I'd say "Keystoners" but then the people in PA would object...) Then we could say, "Those Frackin' Pipeliners!!!"
