North Dakota vs. Colorado College Fri. 1/28

Re: North Dakota vs. Colorado College Fri. 1/28

despite being down 2-0 in the 1st, I thought they were looking pretty good and thought they'd come back but the 2nd has been not good all

Agreed. I wasn't too concerned after the 1st. We were down, but we were controlling play. CC managed to come out in the second and dominate. A lot of that, IMO, is a result of Genoway going down 10 seconds into the period and we didn't seem to bounce back from that.

Saying that, kudos to CC. They have taken advantage of our miscues. While i thought the Sioux could have scored 3 or 4 in the 1st, CC could just as easily be up about 6 or 7-0 right now.

It's frustrating when you are out of a game with still 20:00 left.

It seems like the big ice is a factor - what do you think?

It has become even more of a factor now that Genoway is out. Playing on the big ice down a d-man is not good. Add to that the altitude (which I don't buy too much, I think it's more of a mental block) and it has hurt us. There have also been several occasions where it seems like we took a bad angle to the puck. That could probably be attributed to the big ice.

North Dakota needs about a goal every 5 minutes.

We're starting out on the pk though, so not looking good.
