Umile is one of the best coaches in College Hockey. Sometimes you can only lead a horse to water. He has given that program several chances to win it all. I'm sure more chances are on the way.

UND has been through this as well. Several years in the past decade, they have had the best team in college hockey. Yet, the stars have not aligned. It's a crazy game. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

I'd say UND had the best team in the country twice in the last 10 years. Parise's sophmore year and MMFF's senior year. And both ended in spectacular Viking like fashion. I hate hockey.

I'd agree with those years(05-06 & 10-11). I might also argue that 07-08 and 03-04 UND had the best team as well.
