Just back from Wausau...The difference maker tonight was that CSS took full advantage of their opportunities and SNC did not...No doubt the Saints were the better team...Just happy that it was a non conference game..

I'm not big on excuses, but it seems to me that this past week's schedule was far from the norm for the Knights.

Congrats to Ryan deMelo for getting his first win (and first start) of the season, as Elmira takes-down Fitchburg State 4-to-3 in the early (consolation) game in the Skidmore Tourny. According to the box score, it looks like the end was... ummm... "interesting"(?), with a spearing, DQ, and bench misconduct all 'awarded' to Fitchburg at the 20:00 minute mark. Maybe our "man on the scene" DH003325 can enlighten us upon his return.

It's going "in-and-out" lately, but back-up... bonus hockey tied at 1, with time left on the 5-minute facemasking major called on Naz.
