I'll be at the game with my lawyer, had an extra ticket anyway. Here is the Tale of the Tape, clearly we see DU (or is it Met State?) is the team that sucks. Factor in the internal bickering going on between players and coaches for the Roadrunners (or is it Pioneers?) and it could be a long night for Denver State (or is it The University of Metropolitan?). So confusing! If you think DU (or is it Metro U?) is in trouble now, just wait until next week should they lose to CC. Really, why would a good hockey player continue to give his all with a coach who treats his players like dirt. The Pioneer coaches have lost these men, rightfully so.

Honestly, I think after all these years, the fact is - that the tides have changed. While CC very much still sucks, Denver's biggest rivalry now........ is with North Dakota. I don't think we "hate" CC per se; it's more of a respect, or just a deep desire to beat them and win the Gold Pan. But there is a true, deep hatred for the North Dakota Fighting Sioux. It really is two very different dynamics going on. Maybe this will all change with the NCHC. But right now, as proven by the number of posts, or a lack thereof......Denver wants to get thier hands on UND, period.

I think you're right. Another thing I have noticed is the steep drop in the number of CC posters. Stokecity, Randy May, a lot of the old school posters are gone. CCTig is the only one really carrying the torch. Ron Mexico as well. But, its not like the old days.

Last but not least, %^!@ the DU fans who booed our seniors and the national anthem a few years back at the World Arena.

I fully expect a CC hat trick this weekend. Anyone that doubts me can suck it! Also, I plan to "Tebow" after every CC goal, all ten of them!

Easily the funniest introduction I ever saw at a hockey arena. Even the CC players were laughing.

I was there for that, there was NO booing of the national anthem. Hell, I was one of the ones encouraging our fans to sing it loud and proud. I don't see a problem with that.
