NMU vs. Miami

Re: NMU vs. Miami

STAY OUT OF THE FIRE THREADS. Come in here or last week's game thread to talk. We're making ****ed fools out of ourselves as a fanbase by having 324098048324 coach-firing threads going. Furthermore, put the fire squad on ignore and stop feeding the ****ed trolls already.

Re: NMU vs. Miami

Miami needs to bounce back after a tough OT loss to Michigan State last night. If nothing else, I'm looking forward to the Stewart/Reichard goaltending matchup on Friday. Two of the best the CCHA has to offer.

Stewart looked lost last night. I am serious when I say that if the Wildcats play the way they did yesterday, Stewart will be lucky if he doesn't give up 6 or 7 goals.

Re: NMU vs. Miami

Northern has a knack for playing Miami pretty tough. Haven't seen them this year, but they usually play a nice aggressive, physical style. So, as much as i would love to road sweep, I look more for win/tie for Miami.

In terms of NMU's coaching situation....give me a break! we're still in the first month of the season and you're trying to throw the guy under the bus!?!? get a life! plus, doesn't NMU historically start a little slow and tear it up in the second half anywho?

Yes, they historically start slow, finish strong, win the "Walt Kyle Cup" (third place game) at the CCHA tournament, and miss the NCAA tourney, the last part being the biggest source of frustration. The slow starts come back to haunt them come tourney selection time.

I'm not so sure Stewey will be in after watching him in the first three games. I honestly think Ellingson has played better thus far as much as I love Stewey. I'm thinking maybe they'll split the weekend with Ellingson playing the Friday game to give Stewey a day off.

We are all sick of the slow starts, but BWK and BB- Shut you **** mouths already. We are four games into the season and you two are already mouthing off like a couple of monkeys on heroin. Once again I wish you two morons would lose your internet connection.

It's nice to see someone with the same sentiment.

I find it absolutely laughable that people feel the need to sling insults and call me an embarrassment because I EXPECT MORE OUT OF THIS TEAM.

Big Blue DL, kiss my ***.

Re: NMU vs. Miami

The one who refers to others as lemmings decries insults.....hmmm....

How is being a lemming insulting? Most of you love the fact that you blindly follow Walt and never question him? If he was in a larger market he be getting grilled by the press every day and the fans would be calling for his head!!! But no, we can't do that. Marquette is quaint little community in the UP and no one has the balls to do it. Imagine if the Northwind of the Mining Journal actually called him out. I would love to write that piece.

Or maybe people aren't calling him out because he has a winning coaching record, and makes an otherwise Division 2 school competitive in a Division 1 sport year in and year out with one of the smallest budgets in the sport, while the WMU's and LSSU's of the sport change coaches every few years and never improve.

Re: NMU vs. Miami

Being equated with small rodents not insulting? Blindly following? Please. Just because someone differs with your opinion doesn't make them "blind."

I know I would find being equated to the Rodents insulting. They've only scored 3 goals all year!! :D
