Walt Kyle, your seat just got a little hotter. Especially since you can't even figure out what goalie you want to start in net. You wavered on the decision more than Brett Farve. Your team was undisciplined enough to give up 4 power play goals.

The Huskies are UNDEFEATED after 3 games. It wasn't easy, and Tech had troubles of their own staying out of the box tonight. The squad battled and showed some fight in the 3rd. The put up 53 shots for the game.

I am happy with the tie, but it feels like there should have been more. You are always content when you come back for the tie being down multiple goals in the third, but Tech had so many chances after that point and just couldn't bury it.

GO HUSKIES! The conference season is only a few days away.

Actually, he didn't waver on the decision. Coreau was supposed to start but Ellingson's name was mistakenly put on the starting lineup and had to start. (A stupid mistake to make, of course.) So Coreau entered the game at the earliest convenient time for the Cats.

Now I'd like to ask a little favor of the Huskies. Could you please play with the intensity you do against the Cats in every game? If your team does not return to Marquette in December with a winning record somebody should be calling for Russel's head.

I think we'll know a lot more about this team after the Mankato series this weekend. Time to see if we can put together some conference wins now, particularly against a team who weren't predicted to be that much better than us.

NMU ultimately hung in there with Coreau backstopping them. It seems you've found yourself a strong young goaltender that isn't in "Stewie" land. As for Follmer it's the second time he thrown stuff at the Misfits this week, something off the ice on Friday and water today from the penalty box.

I knew that, I was just giving a little bit of fuel for your NMU comrades that are calling for his head. I actually explained to the people around me that Ellingson's name must have been on the lineup, and it would have been a minor penalty if he didn't actually start the game. It was a fun mistake to heckle. And to the untrained fan, it would look like chaotic indecision.

As for the Huskies playing with the intensity, from your keyboard to God's ears.

Now go tear through the CCHA or something . See you in December.

Completely agree. This team is way to undisciplined right now. As for Follmer, the penalty was inexcusable, Walt needs to suspend him for at least the next three games over the incident. It is unconscionable for a hockey player to lose his temper in such a way.

Walt has never been one to inspire discipline in his team, and with a young team that is going to show and week after week it is going to hurt. How many more PP goals are we going to need to see the Cats give up before it becomes clear to everyone that the regime needs to change

What worries me the most is the PK. Allowing Tech to go 4 for 7 was what killed it.

Maybe the new Head of Hockey Operations for the 'Cats needs to explain to the boys how to score shorthanded.
