Interesting game. The shot numbers were lopsided, but as far as quality shots, it was about even. Seckel and Vigier gave us trouble with their quickness, but we were saved by Leitner's incredible goal on the game winner. That made me happy, but also made me wonder, Where the heck has that been all year?

Stepan is also becoming the player we hoped he would be.

I really liked Stepan as well. Margonari looked good and I thought the Mavericks did an outstanding job of clogging the passing and shooting lanes in the D-zone.

NMU was quick and opportunistic. Dangerous on their opportunities. Now, the Mavs have been MUCH better on Saturday night all season. Let's see how it goes.

How that game was 3-2 was beyond me. The Mavs are lucky their inability to bury didn't hurt them tonight. Leitner showed how skillful and good he can really be on the last one. It looked like all but him were in slow motion; that's was a thing of beauty.

Nice 4 points this weekend! Hope the Mavs can continue the run next weekend at UAH.

Despite the sweep, enjoyed the first Mankato trip. Nice town, great rink, first class people!

Glad you enjoyed it! You guys brought a good team down, and the goalie situation that was up in the air before the season started appears to have resolved itself pretty well. The Swede has game!
