Re: Nice Plant #7: Get me off of this planet

I am surprised that OP hasn't been in here complaining about Sharpton and Skillets and why Jackson isn't organizing a march etc...

Actually, my opinion of that fat weasel has gone up a smidge, now that I've learned he was a paid FBI snitch. Had to earn the bread to pay for those costumes somehow, I guess (the pimp hat is particularly fetching).

I'll explain it again for the students in the back taking x-rated selfies with their same sex partners: I am opposed to laws which attempt to regulate and criminalize motives as opposed to actions. The net result,of course, has been to make identical crimes against different Americans different, with different punishments. Only in "progressive" America can this be seen as consistent with equality before the law.

My small sample of cases involving these laws tells me there is an inherent unevenness of how they are applied. One case with which I'm familiar stands out: a white 14-year old named Israel Byrd who was minding his own business was attacked by a car load of older black kids. As they beat h*ll out of Israel (including literally caving in his skull with his skate board) they were mouthing racial insults. The DA involved said he "hadn't decided" whether to bring hate crimes charges against the attackers! My view is that there are sufficiently tough laws on the books to put those punks behind bars for decades. And would be if the attackers were white and the victim black. IMO "hate crimes" laws are a pander.

In the 2000 presidential campaign, you may recall the NAACP forever gave up any pretense of being anything other than an arm of the Democrat party, when it released a spot criticizing Governor Bush for opposing a proposed Texas hate crime law. It was a powerful, graphic spot, featuring the voice of the daughter of the man brutally dragged to his death in Jasper. A crime which horrified all of America. The problem was: the two leaders of the group that did the dragging were sentenced to death (one has since been executed) and the 3rd, less culpable defendant sentenced to life without parole. Hard to argue Texans went easy on those three.

I have seen / read / heard a number of people, all completely serious, earnestly maintain that black people "cannot" be racist against white, since "racism" only applies when the "majority" culture oppresses the "minority" culture.

Then if you press them they will grudgingly acknowledge that, yes, it might somehow be construed as "bigotry" or "prejudice" but still they insist it cannot possbily be "racism."

oh, and to FTB&G, once NY City started charging perpetrators of the "knockout game" with hate crimes, the game suddenly stopped. How about that!
Then men can't be sexist since we're in the minority.

What about in Kenya, for example, where whites are clearly the minority - who can be racist there?

Fist bumps to the administration for refusing to issue a visa for the proposed new Iranian ambassador to the UN. This greasy, Islamist mother effer was up to his lips in holding US diplomats hostage for over a year, in contravention of every standard of civilized conduct. Let's not hear any more talk about "moderates" in Tehran. Okay? These are the people we're trying to convince they should give up on their nuclear ambitions. This is how they respond.

I used to go back and forth with a close friend, an AME minister who prayed with me when Dr. Pio passed away, and he always made that point. I could never get him to recognize that it was nonsense.

Only way you would want that slimeball in the USA so that the TSA could get him off into a room where B6-13 could pop in and snatch him up in a black van and drop him off at a hog farm. I would hope they would think to remove the teeth before they drop him off. ;)

In those big Iowa hog farms, the gigantic holding pools of hog sh*t are referred to as "lagoons." I recall a case of some poor devil whose truck malfunctioned, who drowned in the hog sh*t (think of the other poor devils who had to try to save him and/or recover his body)! Having the would-be ambassador from Iran swimming in a hog sh*t lagoon like Esther Williams seems entirely appropriate.

Time it right when there's nobody there to be witnesses. That would be the trick to dropping a body off at a big factory farm operation.

Finally, an appropriate use for black helicopters! PLOOK.

The Nevada "confrontation" between the BLM and some old crank has ended, apparently without violence. That's the good news. The bad news is Militia types flooded in to Nevada threatening violence. You remember the militia movement, don't you? A couple of their loose screws blew up the Murrah Building in OKC.

I recall seeing numerous interviews with some Michigan militia "leader" who modestly wore the insignia of grade of a brigadier general. You may also remember Michigan Militia "celebrity" "Mark from Michigan," who hosted a shortwave talk show from a booth at an IHOP. Turns out he was a janitor at the University of Michigan! This clown had to balance his apocalyptic political rhetoric with passing out the urinal cakes. These Posse Comitatus, Gordon Kahl, types are accidents (or much, much worse) waiting to happen.

There's more to the Nevada story. There are reports that the ChiComs wanted the land for a solar farm and Sen. Harry was happy to oblige.

The State of Nevada and Clark County had no trouble with the rancher, and it turns out that the "protected" tortoise has been subject to more culling kills by the authorities than whatever the cows may have killed.

Sonething smells and it's not the manure.

I'm aware of all of that. Resolving these situations is what courts, lawyers, politics and public relations are for. Militia types blew up a federal building in OKC and killed 150 people (give or take). And I have zero tolerance or sympathy for anyone who allies himself with them to any extent. I care not in the slightest what the issues here are. I 'm hearing echoes of Waco (and they murdered four law enforcement officers before killing themselves and their children) and Ruby Ridge and other, similar events. At least (to my knowledge) that "one star" prik from the Michigan Militia didn't show up. Paranoid, delusional confrontation with authority isn't a rational position. Among other things, it's fairly clear local politicians are scared to death of simply suggesting that old LDS clown take his beef to court, where it belongs, and off the streets.

I'm shocked you still believe the federal government lies. I wouldn't be shocked if this whole thing was just a litmus test for heavier action.
