Because it's only the righties who do that. My wife has a far lefty cousin who has to pull down about half of her posts when I show her how completely ridiculous they are.

Your wife's cousin isn't running at the top of the national ticket for her party(I'm assuming).

Lots of folks have been fooled by the Onion, but when it comes to actual Members, the GOP pretty much has a lock on citing it as credible news.

Then again, Democrats sometimes quote Fox as a credible source, so there's your equivalency. :p

Re: Nice Planet XII: It's Cruel to be Kind!

I'm more worried about the "Jesus loves me the rest of you can DIAF" crowd. Imagine Pence with that power? (Shiver.)

It's all the proof you need that any sort of religion, cult, whatever you want to call it, is only interested in the direct control of people, and what is written is either abridged or partially omitted. The same may be said for atheists. Heck, this country in general, especially since the 1950's, is not exempt.

Now I'll have to inform on you at our next Monday night meeting. (It's what we do while the rest of your sheeple are distracted by MNF. )

Grouping atheists together as an organized group with an agenda makes about as much sense as grouping the left-handed.

Oh crap, now I have to inform on myself at our Thursday meeting.

Yet atheists have been organizing for years now. It's become more prevalent in recent years, to the point where a group by the name of Minnesota Atheists have started sponsoring an annual "non-Saints" game for the St. Paul Saints minor league baseball team, redubbing the team for one night the Mr. Paul Aints. Other groups exist too, and it's starting to look like the fracturing of Christianity, where everyone's professing similar yet substantially different ideologies around a central thought or philosophy.

Say 10 Atheists' Prayers and we'll forgive you :D:

I am an atheist
I will never change
I don't have to
Says who?

Groups of atheists form but the vast majority of atheists not only ignore them but don't even know they exist. "None of the above" is a different breed of cat than any other choice. It's like trying to maintain that people who don't collect stamps are an organized group.

And yet, you still group us. Hypocrites.

Re: Nice Planet XII: It's Cruel to be Kind!

Sorry I pointed out that dipsh1ts quoting bogus news stories are not limited to any one party.

Re: Nice Planet XII: It's Cruel to be Kind!

WTH would compel someone to allow a man like this around his/her child?

...

At some point, prosecutors in Camden County, N.J., say, the woman’s 2-year-old boy became upset that 24-year-old Zachary Tricoche had pushed his mother and began to cry, according to the Courier-Post.

That’s when Tricoche attacked, prosecutors say, punching the 29-pound boy so hard that the toddler was launched into a wall, Camden County Assistant Prosecutor Christine Shah said at a court hearing last week, according to NJ.com.

Then, Shah said, Tricoche instructed the 36-inch-tall toddler to “put his hands up,” meaning “that he should form a boxing stance to fight this full-grown man,” NJ.com reported.

At that point, Tricoche hit the boy again, “causing J.B. to again strike his head on a wall and rendering him unconscious,” Shah said, according to the Courier-Post.

...

A medical examiner would later determine that the child’s liver has been crushed by the blows, leading him to bleed to death internally, WFMY reported. The station reported that “the official cause of death is blunt force trauma and the manner of death is homicide.”

...

Shah (Prosecutor) said Tricoche has a lengthy criminal history that includes a juvenile conviction for conspiracy to distribute narcotics and several adult convictions, NJ.com reported. In 2011, the outlet reported, he was convicted of distributing drugs in a school zone, which led him to serve a three-year prison term. In 2014, Tricoche was convicted of loitering to obtain a controlled substance, NJ.com reported.

Re: Nice Planet XII: It's Cruel to be Kind!

You may want to start with a self-evaluation... ;)

Let us know when those Jade Helm prisons open up, and Obama declares martial law, and sends in the brigades of lesbian farmers (copyright El Rushbo) to silence the country-fried "silent majority".

Until then, we'll have to defer to you when it comes to being a fraudlent hypocrite. :D

There's still time.....
