In my case, my mental health professional is only a social worker, so my PCP is the one prescribing the meds. And when I come in every few months for a medication review, I am given a quiz that helps grade how severe the depression is, and I have to be as detailed as possible when describing the mental anguish.

To put that in perspective...dietary "calories" in food are actually units known as kilocalories, or 1000 regular science-y calories. He ate 21,000,000 regular calories.
A gallon of gasoline contains about 31,000,000 regular calories. In theory, the amount of energy he consumed could probably propel a car a good 10-15 miles.
