Re: Nice Planet, Part 2: A-holes on parade

Once again, I have to explain a very simple point for the slow students. If one of the reasons the food police are cracking down on "hot" Cheetos is the disgusting red dust they leave behind why are regular Cheetos okay, given that they leave behind a disgusting dust too, just a different color?
Racist!!!

Re: Nice Planet, Part 2: A-holes on parade

Honestly though, I haven't had a bag of Cheetos in over a year.

These dinguses trying to police the Cheetos should butt the f*k out.

People who need help coping with suicidal thoughts deserve to get said help and deserve our empathy. It's a tough world out there, and sometimes we all need a little help to get through.

That said, and I hate to be a judgmental *****, but sitting on a ledge is an awfully self-centered and jerk-ish way of crying for the help you need, so I say that there's an automatic "Nice Planet" for this guy.

The fact that he's holding his small child while doing it, however, upgrades this from "Nice Planet" to "you might deserve to jump, you ****ing dickwad".

Still, a Genuine Nice Planet for the total badass way that this situation was rectified (although I do have questions about how the responder knew he was going to miss the child).

Not only just to jump, but to survive it with a high level paralysis, so that he's alive, but can't do anything about it.

Re: Nice Planet, Part 2: A-holes on parade

I saw a news article in the print edition of yesterday's (Thursday, 10-18) New York Post that the National Enquirer is reporting that OJ Simpson is offering to sell the knife he used to kill Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman for $5 million cash as long as the transaction occurs outside the US (so that the money can't be seized to apply to the outstanding judgment against him for losing the wrongful death civil suit brought by Goldman's parents).

Not sure how he's going to effect the transaction from his Nevada jail cell, supposedly he's not even eligible for parole until 2017.

I guess he finally found the real killer, eh?

I'm assuming die-hard defenders of the First Amendment will take to the barricades: G*d d*mn Chicago piece of sh*t libstain pipsqueak alderman again changes his mind, now says he won't "permit" Chick-fil-a to do business in his town because the CEO has an unauthorized opinion. Okay, people, let's hear the condemnations.

Or are we talking about a second exception here: 1. for Islamist savages whose feelings we dare not hurt. 2. for conservative Christians.

Slip a check for $10,000 to the local boys and girls club. It will get built.

Elementary school in Seattle bans Halloween. Replaces it with "Harvest Festival." Don't want anyone "offended" by costumes, don't you know? This sucks. Little kids love Halloween and it's just wrong that PC concerns trump their celebrating this harmless, secular holiday.

**** Pagans... Don't they know that their religion is wrong and they shouldn't honor it in public ;) :p

Re: Nice Planet, Part 2: A-holes on parade

Want to get your weekend blood up? Watch the video about the shootings at Fort Hood, from the perspective of survivors. And how the victims are being denied Purple Hearts and higher level benefits, because the incident is classified as "workplace violence." Meanwhile, "Dr." Hasan's lawyers argue endlessly that he should be permitted to wear a beard at his trial, which still hasn't commenced.

Set aside for a moment the blundering which allowed a jihadist pos to hide in plain sight. The people killed and wounded here were just as much victims of Islamo-facism as the victims of 9/11. And they should be afforded every benefit of the doubt when it comes to decorations and benefits. We're going to go cheap on these people? To save a few lousy bucks? We are in a "war on terror," and these people were serving in our army, and are casualties of that war, and should be treated as such, period.

That's interesting, I don't recall President Bush asking congress to declare war.

People are dead. People are grievously wounded. Does hearing from their lips the suffering and terror they went through (assuming you watched the video, which I doubt) generate even a speck of empathy? It does not. All your tiny libstian brain can come up with is some George W. Bush snark. You should be ashamed. We haven't declared war in over 70 years. Is it your childish suggestion that the hundreds of thousands of casualties we've suffered since aren't really casualties because there was no declaration of war? Grow up.

This is why colleges with brains allow the group to remain, but do not allow them to receive monetary compensation through activity funding.
Their student government should be forced to disband if they enforce a rule that says you have to be a student to run for a position.

In other news: ******* gets on a subway train late at night, and starts fondling a sleeping woman. Brainless dip****s don't do a thing to stop it, other than to get cell video and eventually tell the conductor.

Why is it that some people decide that their role to play in stopping this is to silently do nothing instead of, say, punching him or asking "What the holy hell are you doing, you *******?"
