Re: Nice Planet IX: Oh that's just GREAT...

If I were a global elite who had secretly enslaved the world, I would be sure to seed the internet and the media with guys like Alex Jones to discredit the discussion of international finance, capital markets, and the interconnected network of ownership of major corporations.

Reducing actual threats to freedom, happiness, health and even life itself for billions of people to cartoon psy-ops for entertainment is the psy-op.

Meanwhile, THIS is reality:

I know, NIMBYism knows no bounds. Not all multifamily dwellings are the projects. There are nice townhouses and luxury apartments out there. You're not necessarily going to end up with section 8 housing next door to the mcmansions...

Again, one you get past the rhetoric, which is asinine, this is your run of the mill zoning dispute. Who gives a fark.

Seattle is in the middle of a growing urban area and is constrained by water on the east and west, much of Seattle's land is occupied by single family homes, and mass transit is lacking. It just isn't sustainable to have so much land zoned only for single family housing in the middle of a large and growing urban area, it exacerbates urban sprawl and traffic congestion. All of Seattle isn't going to end up looking like Manhattan, but more of it probably should be zoned for more dense development. At the same time, I recognize that someone living in a single family home neighborhood is probably not all that excited by the prospect of having lots bulldozed and filled with townhomes.

Over/under on number of days until DM publishes a retraction buried deep on its site? I'll say 7.

First off, I do not touch myself over this sort of stuff.

Secondly, remember that the ordeal lasts two months, not two hours, like some of the "trendies" on here seem to want you to believe.

So you're saying that if we're not under martial law by 2015-09-14, you'll admit you were wrong?

No, because of two reasons: One, the "exercise" ends on the 15th. Second, because it is an "exercise" to see if martial law will actually work, the hostile areas will already effectively be under martial law, albeit with no enforcement until later.

Isn't that a bit of a paradoxical statement?

No, you were the one that was caught moving the goalposts and subsequently pointing the finger at me.

No, I asked about one day and you gave an excuse why it would be a different day. I asked abot that day and you had an excuse for that. Face facts the voices in the left part of your head arent aware of what the voices in your right part of your head are saying. :D
