The political who heads DHS is such an idiot he could be a Republican. Jeh Johnson was an Obama bundler with a billion dollar Rolodex and a fifty cent head. He's pathetic even by "trophy post" secretary standards. Luckily he doesn't get within a mile of real policy. He's a hood ornament, but it tells you something about how much of a joke DHS is that they let it be ostensibly led by an imbecile.

When my wife worked in the TSA HQ (sitting next to the guy who reviewed all TSA field officer performance), she would put her badge in her pocket, so it would go in the tray with her wallet and keys.

Oddly enough she was never screwed with despite traveling a couple times a month.
