Therefore, I think it's a rather lazy shortcut for people just to look at outcomes (salary disparity) and claim that they've proved something. If you want to prove bias exists (and I firmly believe that it does) - be my guest, and I'll 100% agree with you if you do a scientifically rigorous analysis. Mere data collection is not science.

While that is true...none of that really matters in comparison to the other derp they spew. I mean...I honestly cant even make a joke abut the bile it is just so...wow!

As long as the GOP is even tangentially in line with stuff they will lose the general election.

It will get worse before it gets better. A woman Dem nominee is going to do for the right's sexist impulses what a black nominee did for their racist impulses: "RAMMING SPEED!!!!!!"

Are you kidding me? Ping pong ball-sized water balloons? Now that's fun for absolutely...nobody.

Speaking as a former child - a boy child at that, it wasn't fun if there wasn't at least some amount of danger to it. These kids will only ever get their thrills from videogames because outdoor summertime fun will be banned or else a kid might scrape his knee or elbow, or even end up with a broken wrist. Some of the best stories from childhood end up with someone taking shot to the nards or a broken bone. While the end result wasn't 100% what anybody wanted, chances are you had a blast getting to that point. I have a buddy who still smiles wide everytime we talk about that zipline we set up at another friend's house and he ended up in a cast.

I've seen a few rigorous academic studies that indicate once one takes all sorts of differential factors into consideration, the pay gap is about 7%: women's pay is around 93% of male's pay all else being equalized.

Oh, I remember ziplines. Of course, a lot of that was inspired by American Gladiators. Yes, I took some old foam padding, wrapped it around both ends of a stick, and had some fun, too. Then they started getting lawsuits from angry parents because of the kid breaking something, and eventually we get to this point.

To heck with all that. I will gladly buy my kids (or at least these days, FlagDUDETTE's nephews) water pistols and/or Nerf guns, and we'll enjoy play time.
