I would think it would probably be easier to just demolish the house and start all over on the lot. A stench like that, its all in the walls and whatnot. You could let it air out for 3 years and it would still smell of dog crap and ****.

I agree with that. However, would the money be there to do that? The housing market and the economy isn't that good.

No ones gonna notice one more stinky, run down, abandoned house in Detroilet :p

Re: Nice Planet © 2009

This quote:

Really jumps out at me.

Is this a "human" story? This is what I'm talking about when it comes to criminal behavior and those with mental issues. It becomes "Yeah, pity the victim but the criminal is also the victim."

No, he's not a victim. He's a criminal. The mental issues may point to why this was allowed to occur, but that doesn't mean that the crime should be glossed over or that he shouldn't be receiving the same punishment someone else would be getting. SERIOUSLY! 112 dogs running amok and 150 more in poochsicle status downstairs.

Book him Dan-O.

The only human victims in this story are:

1. The people who have to clean out the house including the dead dogs
2. The people who have to figure out a way to sell it (if the parents of this man can't afford to take control of the house).

I would think it would probably be easier to just demolish the house and start all over on the lot. A stench like that, its all in the walls and whatnot. You could let it air out for 3 years and it would still smell of dog crap and ****.

The thing is is this house is located in a decent area of Dearborn & looking at the house from the outside you would never know that this guy was hoarding these dogs. The yard was always mowed, there weren't any weeds, driveway was clean, it was pretty immaculate from the outside. Inside though, it was a House O' Skank.

I like this one. It breaks up the cruelty/rape/murder/etc. Stupid people can be funny some times. :)
Something tells me it was done on purpose. I mean, every word except "exit" is misspelled.

Ah, but that one was intentional. I love that shirt. :)

Can't wait for the plethora of shirts that <strike>would</strike> will pop up <strike>if</strike> when he signs with Minnesota. Most of which will make some reference to Benedict Arnold or Judas Iscariot.

Boston cabbie almost has to take the blame for parents forgetting their 5 year old in his cab.

The last quote pretty much says it all:

"I think the sad piece here is that the police are not recognizing the responsibility of the adults and are now saying this driver also has to be responsible for passengers who forget their children," said Donna Blythe-Shaw, a staff representative for the United Steelworkers Boston Taxi Drivers Association.

Re: Nice Planet © 2009

Can we just shoot the criminal and not waste money on a court process? I'm sure the jury would appreciate not having to take time out of their lives to just state the inevitable after a really long and drawn out inevitability.

Hot Dog case: Who do I sue to enforce a rule that all idiots (based upon a panel of 4 peers' criteria) must be tatoo'd with a warning label saying "Beware, this person is actually dumber than he/she appears."

I think I have about the same chances as these 3 NJ idiots.

In EPA news, the EPA should be forced to examine the water contaminants in the parts of NJ where those three are from.

Re: Nice Planet © 2009

It's funny that this pertains to hot dogs. Because there's something that I think these people should go choke on, and its almost a hot dog.

People like this make me lose all faith in humanity. People who worry about what causes cancer cause cancer. Don't stick your face in the microwave, don't eat lead paint, don't swim in nuclear waste, problem solved. Unless you actually do eat only hot dogs on a daily basis, which doesn't take a study looking for cancer to tell you is a BAD CHOICE, you're not going to get cancer from hot dogs unless they're stuffed with arsenic.
