Well, it's okay for a blind 8 year old to hit you with a stick, since it appears that's the only way a teensy bit of perspective will find its way into your "thoughts."

I saw it last night and went to bed rather than respond and it's already been deleted. I know you didn't mean it. We all tend to take things too personally sometimes. That's why I often take a break from these threads. It isn't so much the argument, it's that I become someone I don't like and need to step away.

I remember working for MSN at the dawn of the consumer Internet. We were basically giving away computers if people were bad at math and signed up for 3 years of service ($479 PC, $450 discount, $792 Dial-Up Internet ). I would get calls from people upset that there was some glitch or other (reinstall the damm dialup drivers) and it had been an hour since they checked their email! Calm down, Sparky. A week ago you didn't even know what email was; and I highly doubt that in that hour you've received some earth-shattering news in your inbox.

Flaggy thinks we're "sheep" for trusting more established news sources, yet he posts everything from alternative/fringe websites without questioning, as if it were gospel truth. Flaggy, you're just as much a "sheep" as you call us... all you're saying is your shepherd is better than ours.

Point of order: while I am not one of "those" people, some consider their pets as children. I get the sentiment, but don't feel that way. However, PETA is despicable.
