Re: Nice Planet 6: Get Me Off This Planet.

Putting your hands up now means "kill me". I never thought I'd have to say this, but viewer discretion is advised. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HrF_SYx1js
Is it just me, or is there a lack of blood after he gets shot? Video quality is pretty bad, so I can't say for sure what I'm seeing...

Also, why would they cuff a guy they just killed?

I think there were some extra shots overdubbed onto the video. Like you said, the lack of blood and the fact that cops were closing in on him to cuff him while some shots are sounded, too much just doesn't add up.

Are you guys really putting this much thought into some whackadoodle video posted by a lunatic?

Re: Nice Planet 6: Get Me Off This Planet.

Then why is he dead? Heart attack? Avada Kedavra?

And to those think police will help you when in need, guess again: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c54_1391238468

Even assuming these examples you're cherry-picking are factual; isolated incidents do not equate to an entire class of people being the devil. That's some seriously close-minded bigotry, right there. Step away from the internet conspiracy websites for 5 minutes and get some real-life experience. Perhaps go on a ride-along with your friendly neighborhood police department. Get some friggin' perspective.

Or, in the perhaps more likely event that you're just trolling for a reaction, then I hope you enjoy life under your bridge.

He will translate this as "go see the movie 'Ride Along', in theatres NOW"

We should start posting articles about murders in New York, and claim that everyone from New York should be assumed to be a murderer.

I'm not sure it would help his perspective, but I highly recommend reading Signal Zero by Dr. George Kirkham. He was a changed man after his experience.

I've often thought it's pretty easy for "civilians" to sit in their office, their home, their dorm room, and second guess the actions of police officers, or in a similar vein, soldiers.

We ask these people to do a very difficult, dangerous job. We issue a weapon to them, give them the authority to use it when their professional judgment says they should, then put them in life or death situations.

It is the nature of their jobs that no matter how traumatized or frightened they may be by the position we put them in, they are essentially compelled to make a display of bravado, of "it's nothing, it's just part of my job", and go home and coach the kid's little league team eight hours after you had to shoot someone who was shooting at you.

In every one of FD's stories/videos that he linked, never once did I feel afraid for my own life. Never once did I feel like I was "in the line of fire." I'm not going to pretend to know what it feels like to chase an armed man into a darkened building, or to be in a high speed chase with someone who says they won't be taken alive. From the websites linked by FD, a lot of people apparently have that ability. I guess we'll just have to keep reading their accounts.

Exactly what Marcus Luttrell wrote in "Lone Survivor."

Officer Eddie: (reading Steve Sax’s license) Well well, Steve Sax, from New York City.
Officer Lou: I heard some guy got killed in New York City and they never solved the case. But you wouldn’t know anything about that now, would you, Steve?
(Lou and Eddie laugh)
Steve Sax: But there are hundreds of unsolved murders in New York City.
Officer Lou: You don’t know when to keep your mouth shut, do you, Saxxy Boy?
