Meanwhile, remember those fine upstanding future leaders of our country who broke in and trashed a retired NFL player's Albany area house? And had their twitter pics posted by said star to find the perps?

Well, Mommy and Daddy are not too happy - at the NFL player. http://nypost.com/2013/09/20/parents-want-to-sue-former-nfler-for-outing-their-hard-partying-brats/

File this under responsibility.
I don't believe that word is in the parents' vocabulary.

Why is this in Nice Planet? This is effing awesome! No reason to be ashamed of this article.

Well, I'm open to suggestions. I put some similar items in "Genuinely Nice Planet" and had my t*ts slapped for doing it. You're right, it is awesome, which is why I posted it in the first place.

F-22 Raptor pilots mock, humiliate and scare the sh*t out of Iranian fighter pilots.

They're still flying F-4s? lolz

Best quote...

“He [the Raptor pilot] flew under their aircraft [the F-4s] to check out their weapons load without them knowing that he was there, and then pulled up on their left wing and then called them and said ‘you really ought to go home.’"

Boy, talk about apples and how far they fall from trees!

Casualty count now 13 in Chicago park shooting. So far, all have survived. And there are reports some sort of "military grade" weapon was used. And the top cop finds the presence of such a weapon on Chicago's streets "unacceptable." Evidently the Black P. Stones and Gangster Disciples shooting up a public park is less important than the particular weapon(s) used. Because if they couldn't lay their hands on "military grade" weapons, this slaughter wouldn't have happened. Right?

In war gaming F-15s (which are a generation newer than F-4s) against F22s, every Eagle was splashed and no Raptors. And the Eagle has an astonishing combat record. Not a single one has ever been lost to an enemy. As I say, if you're going up against a Raptor, you might as well be flying an ME109, or a Spad.

Imagine being an Iranian pilot and ordered to engage us. You wouldn't even have a puncher's chance.

I would have suggested "Genuinely Nice Planet" but since people are whiny *****es, I don't know. Thanks for posting it though, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's like Gaddafi's poor dumb b*stards, in their 3rd generation MiGs, attacking our F-14 Tomcats, piloted by Top Guns. Not pretty. And over verrrrrry quickly.

A Houston TV station aired cockpit audio of those encounters. At one point, one of the aviators said he "couldn't get a farkin' tone" to launch his missiles. Some idiots complained about the language. Let's see, the guy's in combat with his life on the line, and that's your concern? The newsworthiness of the audio far outweighed concerns about the verbiage.

In some wargames done with our European allies, the Raptor was pitted against the Typhoon. In close range combat, the Typhoon won more often than not. It long range combat, the Raptor would win each time. Simply put, the Raptor is designed to kill from a distance; it's not intended for dog fights.

Actually there is a "plethora of goodness" in American society. And it's not hidden. It's just that you're dedicated to the glass being half empty. And you're always on the lookout for any data, no matter how insignificant, that confirm your biases.

Sort of like you and Chicago violence.

A good buddy of mine from high school flys F22s, he can't tell anyone where he is or where he flys. I wonder if it was him that this article was about. :p

Re: Nice Planet 5: Insert Catchy Title Here

So tell us what the half full side of the Chicago shootings is.

So many people worried about the human population growing to unsustainable levels, and we're going to worry about a few shootings, a thinning of the herd, more or less?
