That, and when Kubrick started to ask Emery something, Kubrick started to stand up out of his chair, and Emery (keeping character) barked at him to stay seated, which Kubrick did.

They voted on the bill while in a lame duck session. They voted on it because a number of those people in the House of Reps were already on their way out, having lost their elections and control of the House. If anything, it went through using the height of backdoor shenanigans.

US Airways passengers mutiny when petty martinet crew members throw a blind guy and his dog off a flight. Good for them. Ever since 9/11, pipsqueak flight crew members have been going way beyond reasonable safety concerns. Dennis Miller puts it better: "When did flight attendants get so bleeping cranky?" Indeed. If you have an option, I'd recommend against flying with those pr*cks.

Well done montage.

Seems to me that Ford is a world class drunk at best. "Have I tried it? Well, maybe in one of my drunken stupors" - as if that makes it acceptable. :p Plus now his crass public denial of his advances on a female staffer, followed hours later by an apology.

And now that he's admitted that he's bought "illegal drugs" in the past two years (which could be anything from pot to crystal to smack), and multiple staffers are claiming they were asked to stock his booze, I'd say we can call this "Myth Confirmed".

Well, Chicago elected a gay, coke freak who had failed to pay his taxes for five straight years (even though his birthday was April 15th!). That sets the bar pretty high. Still, it's a fair question to ask. And why can't they get rid of him?
