Re: Nice Planet 2011

Some weeks back, we had a heated discussion about Jesse Ventura, and what a dik I think he is. Several Minnesota posters wanted me to know he was okay, maybe even good as governor, but not so good since. And that's how it ended. I ran across this today, and while I obviously can't verify the story, anyone who does what is alleged here certainly earned a beat down.

Christy McNichol comes out of the closet? Who knew? Next they're gonna try to convince me the guy who played Doogie Howser's gay, too. Yeah, right.

Is it just my imagination, or do we seem to be having more of these "family slaughter" incidents lately? This one is more bizarre than usual.

It has been more common. People are starting to feel that they have no hope of providing for their families any more, and this is the right thing to do for them. Or they'd rather off just themselves, but can't bear the thought of putting their family through that much suffering and decide to take them too. Desperate minds aren't the most rational.

They were actually fairly common back in the Great Depression. Banker would come to foreclose on a farm, might find most of the animals alive yet, go in the house and find all of the family dead, stabbed in their sleep, and then find the father either hanging or chewing on their shotgun. Stress like that just isn't healthy.

Gah, ya beat me.

This guy better pray the police find him before the Internet does. A certain Website That Must Not Be Named is about to reduce this guy to a blubbering mass in the corner of his house. They don't take kindly to kitty abuse.

Did we both initially see the story linked on Fark?
