Yes this is when an argument starts to lose me. MT has gone through things most of us will never minutely comprehend and the pain and suffering from it are not for us to question. Yet many of us have also shown a lot of support and empathy. Don't use a howitzer when a water pistol will suffice.

I apologize for snapping and blaming all cis.

I know not ALL cis... and I know when I wandered into Twitter for further explanation, it didn't help. I thought rampant transphobia was a problem in the US. It's worse in the UK and certain parts of Europe. I needed brain bleach after what I read last night. I tried cleaning my apartment, but that didn't work.

So yes, in the future, I will take my own advice. If I don't know what to say, or afraid I'll say the wrong thing... walk away, think about it, and then come back.

We've got your back as much as we can from an online community, and don't be afraid to vent out. It may not always be perfect because we're human, but in the end we'll figure it out.

And this past Wednesday, I got up in front of Holland (MI) City Council to add my voice to those wanting LGBTQIA added to the non-discrimination ordinance. I only stood up to speak because someone was going on about the bathrooms and locker rooms.

Here's video (I'm at 1:37). A good reminder that a calm Amber will convince more than a hostile Amber.
