For me, thus far in the playoffs the most memorable job has been done by Nicklas Backstrom. His tour-de-force performance in Geico's "Hey, I Think I Have A Splinter In My Arm" is a sure-fire Emmy winner. His gripping, emotion packed acting makes the vignette a timeless classic. When that vehicle is turned into a feature length film we will, of course, be talking a Best Actor Oscar. Bravo! Encore, encore!

The Wild scored 7 goals in 5 games with 6 in regulation. I'm thinking that the goaltending was not the major issue.

Harding had a pretty solid series overall, imho.

I agree, but there is a goaltender issue here and we aren't used to it.

The top line was non-existent. Ticks me off. But I feel as though it is because Chicago's top two lines are better. Not to mention the Blackhawks are awesome on D.

Parise was criticized for struggling in the playoffs for stretches last year as well. I know they played a **** good Hawks team, but stil, was he -7?

Last four games? He had one good run in the playoffs (the year they lost in the finals, when they won he had a .908 Save%). And he's been an .881 goaltender in his last 30 playoff games! .881!

Exactly. If it weren't for one huge save on Lidstrom, the guy would be considered as big a playoff choker as Luongo.

Which is also funny because Luongo is a .919 regular season goaltender and a .917 playoff goalie. So, basically, no change. But narratives are fun even when they're not true.
