He's always done the fist pump. Big deal. Pointing to the ring is silly, but the only way that kind of taunting is affective is if you react to it the way you are.

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013 - Walruses, Trolls and other assorted creatures.

Stevep, if you think a simple fist pump after singing the anthem is classless, I don't know what to tell you. He's been doing it for years, that's what he's known for. You're the only person I've seen call it classless. I guess everyone in boston who doesn't mind it either must be classless too? You must be a habs fan.
Someone thinking a fist pump by a national anthem singer is "classless" makes me think of the people who write in to "Miss Manners" because they're offended when someone responds to "Thank you" with "No problem" instead of "You're welcome".

Color me one who stands at attention for both anthems. I'll put that down to my background and my upbringing.

In my mind, just because he's been doing it for years doesn't make it right. If your mileage varies and you have no problem with Rancour then so be it.

I'll forgive JD for insulting me by calling me a Habs fan. ;) :p

Steve, if you don't like it...that's fine. But classless was just a terrible choice of words.

I've lost count of how many timeouts the Bruins have received this game.

They showed Will Arnett and John McEnroe sitting together at the Rangers-Caps game. What a random pair.

I'll just put this here and watch the fireworks.

IMHO: Guys a delta bravo.
From what I've seen this dikchead is an exception to the Toronto fans who've been hyper enthusiastic, but classy (can I use that word?). After the Bruins goals, there were shots of Bruins fans celebrating (without rubbing it in) and the Toronto fans weren't giving them a hard time. This game showed that you can have an intense game without people acting like jerks.

I've been trying to watch my Rangers without having a heart attack, but I have seen pieces of that game and you hit on the head. Never had a problem with Leafs fans.

Richards get the stick up high, but man did Ovechkin make a show of it.

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013 - Walruses, Trolls and other assorted creatures.

that's it?!?!?!!? imagine if that was sidney :D
Sid actually did dive while watching the game on TV. Good thing he had his bucket on or he could have hurt himself on the coffee table. ;)

Solid job by the Caps establishing, controlling, and not giving up the perimeter during that PP.

Break out the blodkorv and pickled herring. The Rangers win!
