Joyously happy at the moment but I feel for you - I know you're a diehard Pens fan.

Watching the post game, they're talking about the Penguins firing Bylsma. So, if that happens.....that's two coaches who lost jobs because they lost to the Bruins.

Hearing the same rumors during the Wild/Hawks series....it's BS if he's fired.

I think bylsma deserves criticism for how the series started but they were a lot better in boston. his stars didn't deliver. Malkin was a threat every time he touched the puck in game three and tonight he was a complete non-factor.

James neal looked like absolute rubbish all series.

Crosby is great but when you're able to turn him into a shooter, that's not the best part of his game.

It is, but as we all know with pro sports, the coach is always the first guy to take the fall when a team underachieves. If he gets shown the door, he'll have another job soon enough. It's not entirely his fault that the Pens don't have a proper top defense pair, or that their all-star scorers are softer than a woman's butt.

claude set up a great scheme where the b's would have a diamond in front of tuuka. pens get A LOT of points off rebounds and in front. there was nothing available for them all series. it got to where you'd see the shots on net from the outer circles, and there were b's in front to clear any rebounds. any time a pass would come from behind the goal line to in front --- cleared by chara and co. anytime a rush tried to get to the middle --- run into bodies. guys would drop pass or get tied up and backwards pass since there was nowhere to go. the top diamond would pick it up and transition back.
there was no room for wing-to-wing passes to allow a neal to get that shot off into a sliding goalie. tuuka faced some shots, but he had time for the most part and was ready, took up space, and did the job. well done.

just a great, well played series by the b's. what can i say? fabulous winning hockey.

I'm pretty sure Mookie wouldn't have been so gracious if the Pens had rolled the Bruins in 4, all in good fun:D
