Re: NHL Playoffs 2013: Shut up, Pierre...
Torts called Richards on the phone to tell him he wouldn't be playing tonight.

And the Dolans should call Torts and Sather to tell them that they won't employed after Bruins sweep them tonight.![]()
Oh sure, the Bruins may sweep the Rangers tonight, but on the other hand Torts will have a full summer to work on being evasive and condescending in his post-game press conferences for his new team.
He's gonna love Seattle or Quebec City.![]()
I agree with all of this. Add into that Torts inability/refusual to make any type of in-game changes outside of throwing out line combinations of whoever is sitting close to him.
Anyone with any amount of insight into MSG says that Dolan absolutely loves Sather, so his dismissal isn't about to happen anytime soon. However, I do believe it is the coaches job to get the most out of the players he is given and I no longer think Torts is capable of doing that with the NYR.
True, sad yet very true. A would bet my last dollar that a DIII team could at the very least hold the offensive zone longer and create more shots.
Maybe he and his brother can coach the Black BearsHe's gonna love Phoenix.![]()
Torts game plan is based on heart, grit, hard work, and determination.
What about stick-to-it-iveness?

At least it's not truculence.
What is truculance? if it's good I have it.

All this drama with the Rangers today guarantees they will win tonight.
