NHL 2026: The Olympics Will Be Mammoth!

Also, Larkin has officially been stripped of the 'C'. About 3 years too late, but at least it's done.

Yzerman reportedly told Guerin during draft weekend that it's Boldy or nothing for Larkin. :ROFLMAO:
HA.

I’m not saying the Wild get him, but Stevie Y acting like he has leverage in this situation is funny.

I think he knows that and is moreso pointing this back at Larkin and trying to pressure him to expand his options.

"Cool list bro, but give us a few more teams you're willing to play for, or else we'll see you in camp."

Hurricanes owners Tom Dundon put his wife and five children on the Stanley Cup. It's not the first time since the approval process started that families have been on the Cup, but the Illitchs and Violas who were added were actually part of the team in some capacity. Dundon's wife doesn't hold a role in the organization. Neither do his children, because they range from elementary school to college aged.

I would love to see Larkin's ass stapled to the press box for the start of the season. But I also know Stevie can't move him without showcasing him. So he'll likely have to play him. Then it all comes down to Larkin either showcasing himself or sulking so bad he just gets bought out.

As for Dundon/Carolina... sigh. Hope the NHL busts out the X stamp like they did Pocklington.

After the Pocklington Sr. controversy, the NHL supposedly implemented a confirmation process to ensure only members of the team were engraved. So much for that.

Brad Aldrich got the X's too.
