And for the thousandth time, I wish I could just cut the announcers and listen to the ambient noise.

Jay Beagle becomes the second UAA Seawolf to win a Stanley Cup.

I'm watching on CBC. The obnoxiousness is at a minimum.

So....who gets the Conn Smythe?

You mean Cherry isn't denigrating OV for being a Commie who lucked into a Cup by playing an expansion team in the Finals? ;)

It doesn't hurt like the Wings loss in '09, but I certainly am bummed about this outcome. I really loved watching how fun Vegas was all season. It seemed that Tuch not being able to lift the puck in game two was the defining moment where the clock ticked towards midnight after being stuck all season.

Four losses in a row for Vegas. This was the *first* time Vegas had lost four games in a row all season.

I'm amazed Ovechkin got through that interview without dropping a 4-letter bomb.

Can't possibly be disappointed for Ovi. What a scene when he was called up by Gary and when he went for his skate with it.

Who takes Ovi's spot as the "face" of a franchise without a Cup?
