Yep. Nice to see them finally retire the numbers instead of just honoring them. Also great to see Dave Keon back in the fold after to many years of bitterness.
 
Wings finally win one. And unbeknownst to me, they also lead the league in fighting majors. Did they sign Probert and Kocur in the off season?

Not sure if someone at MLBAM fell asleep at the controls tonight, but the Ottawa at Detroit feed is still going almost 45 minutes after the game ended. They're showing Red Wings Live (the Fox Sports Detroit post game show). A search of Twitter showed that the same has happened for the Fox Sports Midwest and Fox Sports Southwest feeds.

If this is a new feature of NHL.tv, I like it!

If it's just MLBAM off to a lazy start, well, I hope they keep it. Would also be nice to have for MLB.tv.

Well, a limited number of tickets for the Winter Classic went on sale and I GOT SOME. I can't wait.

Teemu Pulkkinen waived by the Wild to try and create some roster flexibility. I would love for the Wings to claim him back so they can promptly send him to Grand Rapids.


*Edit* And no, no sarcasm either. Pulks needs a bit more seasoning to make that cut (or maybe he's just Darren Haydar 2.0). Either way, I hope the Red Wings claim him back.

Surprisingly, he cleared. Down to Iowa he goes. I'm shocked. I thought the Wings would take him back.

The Wild beat Dallas 4-0 with 15 SOG. Dubnyk with this 3rd straight SO. The Wild have had a fairly favorable schedule so far but teams in years past would have fumbled this many opportunities away.

If the Cubs and Cavs can win, I'm pretty sure that means the Sharks were supposed to win back in June.
