Wild beat the 'Hawks 3-0 last night and Chicago never had that push that they always pull out when playing the Wild when their big guns get 3 or 4 quick ones.

I knew that. I meant I don't understand the Wild.

Tonight's Leafs - Predators game is an exercise in ugliness.

To be fair, 4-3 is better than the previous 9-2 thrashing.

Thank God that I'm in Spain, seven hours ahead of the latest debacle. That's ten in row in the loss column. But, that matches the streak by the 66-67 team that won the Cup.

That was the worst "effort" and "performance" I've seen from the Hawks since the dark decade that is never mentioned.

Hopefully that was rock bottom as they've been flailing a bit lately and need to get their **** together.


Not to take anything away from the Wild who played a very solid game.

They'll either get it together this year or they won't.


I just couldn't believe what I was seeing on the tube last night though. Looked like a bad bantam team with some of those turnovers, blown assignments and perimeter shooting.

If not for Crow, would have been a blowout.

I wasn't aware that Montreal was on such a long streak vs Boston. I always feel like they split.

Also, Wild win streak still has them 5 pts out of the 8 spot for the playoffs.

Antoine Roussel got five and a game tonight, adding to his rap sheet with the NHL.

Not sure where this fire was when he was with the. Chicago Wolves. Never played like that with them. Same for Alex Bolduc. After his stint with the Wolves, he also turned into a dick in the NHL.

I think some guys get called up, know after the first shift or two that they don't have the talent to stick, and realize being a pest is the best thing they can do to try and avoid having just a cup of coffee.
